Please note the following:
You must first register for the World Forum on Early Care and Education to sign up for a center or city tour. For family members of World Forum delegates interested in signing up for center and city tours, please reach out to [email protected]. If you plan to participate in any of these tours, you will need to arrive in Orlando the day before your scheduled tour. Space is limited and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tour Registration Deadline is April 30, 2022.
Center Tours
Sunday, May 15 & Monday, May 16 from 12:45 pm-5:30 pm
Fee: $100 USD per person
Join your colleagues from around the globe on Sunday, May 15 and Monday, May 16 to visit some of the diverse high-quality early childhood programs in Orlando. Specific centers will be announced at a later date.
City Tours
Two city tour options are available for May 15 and May 16 highlighting the unique environment and history of Orlando.
Kennedy Space Center – Registration Closed
Sunday, May 15 from 12:15 pm-6:30 pm
Fee: $100 USD per person
On Sunday, May 15, take a trip to Cape Canaveral and travel through the mission zones of Kennedy Space Center to get an up-close, hands-on feel for the story of humans in space. Take a tour of KSC’s newest exhibit, “Gateway” to explore the future of interstellar travel and walk through the Atlantis, home of the last shuttle to fly 126 million miles through space.
Wild Florida Airboats and Gator Park – SOLD OUT
Monday, May 16 from 12:45 pm-5:30 pm
Fee: $100 USD per person
On Monday, May 16, go on an adventure through the Headwaters of the Florida Everglades with Wild Florida Airboats and Gator Park. Explore a part of marshland that hasn’t changed from when early pioneers settled in the 1800s aboard a U.S. Coast Guard certified airboat and see eagles, turkeys, wild boar, roseate spoonbills, alligators, and other wildlife native to the area. After your airboat tour, stroll through the Alligator Park where you can see lemurs, sloths, zebras, and other animals native to South America, Africa, and Australia. Next, meet a Wild Florida animal family member during one of our animal encounters (an alligator, snake, or sloth)!
World Forum Night at Disney’s EPCOT – SOLD OUT
Thursday, May 19 from 5:00 pm-9:00 pm
Fee: $100 USD per person
Join the World Forum at Walt Disney World’s Epcot Center on Thursday night following the closing ceremonies. Discounted Epcot tickets and transportation included. We will be exploring the fun international food and cultural experiences in Epcot’s World Showcase. You can explore Epcot and the World Showcase at your own pace as we celebrate the conclusion of our 2022 World Forum on Early Care and Education.
