Protection: This Guy is me and This is My Brother

“This guy is me and this is my brother. This is the thunder and rain. There’s rain coming down and there’s no one to protect so we’re standing in the rain. We don’t know if it’s thunder or lightening.”
A child’s intuition is strong and innate. This child’s drawing depicts two brothers standing together against all odds. I can only speculate, but I believe the artist was illustrating their perseverance. This drawing reflects the child’s inquiry about the natural world and the blurred boundaries between what he knows and what he has yet to discover. I don’t believe the story ends there…it may be just the beginning.
