What is included in my registration fee?
Your fee provides you with full participation in all plenaries, workshops, and sessions; conference materials; a welcome reception on April 14, morning refreshment breaks on April 15, April 16, and April 17, and afternoon refreshment breaks on April 15 and April 16. Further details on meals are noted below.
Monday, April 13 | Breakfast available *only* for delegates staying at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Delegates are responsible for their own lunch and dinner.
Tuesday, April 14 | Breakfast available *only* for delegates staying at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Delegates are responsible for their own lunch and dinner. A Welcome Reception will serve light hors d’oeuvres from 8:30-9:30 PM.
Wednesday, April 15 | Breakfast available *only* for delegates staying at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Delegates are responsible for their own lunch and dinner. Two break times will offer light snacks.
Thursday, April 16 | Breakfast available *only* for delegates staying at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Delegates are responsible for their own lunch and dinner. Two break times will offer light snacks.
Friday, April 17 | Breakfast available *only* for delegates staying at the Hilton Kuala Lumpur. Delegates are responsible for their own lunch and dinner. One break time will offer light snacks in the morning.
What is NOT included in my registration fee?
Your registration does not include your lodging accommodations or transportation. Please view more information about hotel accommodations in the left-hand menu. Be sure to make your room reservation early to get your first choice of accommodations.
How is my registration fee calculated?
Your registration fee is based on the Gross Domestic Product per capita of your country of residence. Please click the ‘Register Now’ button below to see the breakdown of rates for your region.
How do I pay for my registration fee?
A credit card is required to complete your registration. MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discover are accepted. If you are not able to pay by credit card, please contact [email protected].
What if I cannot afford the registration fee?
In accord with its value of “Differences,” the World Forum Foundation supports diversity in participation through its Fellowship Fund. A limited amount for funding is available for individuals from communities with minimal financial resources, made possible due to the generous contributions of sponsors and donors. What language will be used at this conference?
At this time, all World Forum sessions are conducted in English. However, World Forum Foundation continues to explore opportunities for translation and simultaneous interpretation to make our events more inclusive and accessible. If you are interested in signing on as a sponsor to support translation/interpretation services, please reach out to [email protected].
Will there be optional tours at the 2026 World Forum?
Yes! At this time, tour choices are available for delegates on Monday, April 13 and Tuesday, April 14 (subject to change). Space is limited and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to participate in any of these activities, you will need to arrive in Kuala Lumpur the day before the scheduled gathering/tour.
Please note:
•You must be registered for the 2026 World Forum on Early Care and Education in order to participate in a pre-conference event or tour.
•All pre-conference events and tours are non-refundable.
Can I register a group for this conference?
Yes, there are group registration options for this event. You can learn more throughout the registration process.
Can I bring my family with me to this conference?
The World Forum is family friendly. Any family members joining you in Kuala Lumpur are welcome to participate in any of the interactive exhibits at the event as well as No-Host Dinners at an extra cost. Attendance at the Welcome Reception is open for family members for an additional cost of $50 usd. Please contact [email protected] for more information.
What if I need to cancel my registration?
Notice of cancellation must be submitted in writing to [email protected]. Registrations canceled prior to two months before the first day of the World Forum event, will be offered a credit (see below) OR can be refunded less a USD 20% service fee. Registrations canceled after two months before the first day of the World Forum event, will be issued a registration credit (ineligible for a refund) to be used within 24 months from the start date of the World Forum event that you requested cancelation for.
Credits
Credits are to be used within 24 months from the start date of the World Forum event that you requested cancelation for. Credits are not refundable.
Past Event Credits
If you have a registration credit from the 2024 Vancouver event, you may use the credit towards your 2026 Kuala Lumpur event registration. The credit will expire if not used for the 2026 event.
Credits from the 2019 Macao event, 2021 Vancouver event (that was postponed) and the Orlando event have expired and are ineligible for use or refund.
Credits from the 2023 Panama registration will expire May 2, 2025. This means you must use your credit to register prior to May 2, 2025. Cancellation after that date will result in expiration of the credit making in ineligible for use or refund.
