A NOTE FOR DELEGATES HAVING A HARD TIME LOCATING A PANAMANIAN EMBASSY OR CONSULATE NEARY YORU RESIDENCE IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR AND/OR OBTAIN A PANAMA VISA:

If you have a current US Visa with appropriate validity at the time of the World Forum, you can use the US Visa to enter Panama. However, please read the following statement carefully. This is from our Panama City Destination Management Company.

As long as you connect via the United States and clear immigration in the United States, it is enough for delegates to use your United States visa to enter Panama. You will need to get the stamp that the US immigration officers place on passports once allowed to enter the country. This stamp proves that they are cleared (all is in order in their file) and their US visa has been used before getting to Panama. However, it is important to consider the validity time of the visa, of the passport and the economical proficiency that Panama authorities require.

You can find the most updated and detailed info in English in the following link by the US Embassy in Panama: https://www.embassyofpanama.org/visas-1

Additionally, be sure to check into visa requirements for countries you may travel through on your way to Panama. Many delegates with a layover in the United States will need a transit visa. Learn more about transit visas HERE
