Past Events

WF Event AttendeesThe idea for a World Forum event was first visualized by Bonnie and Roger Neugebauer and Carmel and Rodney Kenner at a 1998 meeting in Sydney, Australia. To test the waters, the first World Forum on Early Care and Education was held in Honolulu, Hawaii in 1999. In 2002 it was decided the concept had merit and the venture was incorporated as the World Forum Foundation, a 501(c) 3 tax exempt corporation in the United States.

To date, the World Forum Foundation has:

  • organized 52 forums
  • in 34 countries
  • attended by over 10,000 early childhood professionals
  • serving over 2 million children in 151 countries.
