2021 Optional Tours

A number of optional tour choices will be available for delegates on Monday, April 19 and Tuesday, April 20. Space is limited and will be made available on a first-come, first-served basis. If you plan to participate in any of these tours, you will need to arrive in Vancouver the day before your scheduled tour.

Whether or not you participate in the center or city tours, the City of Vancouver has a great number of sights to see.  For a short list of “must see” attractions, please visit About Vancouver.

Join your colleagues from around the globe on Monday April 19 and Tuesday April 20 to visit some of the diverse high-quality early childhood programs in Vancouver.

A second option for April 19 and 20 is a city tour highlighting the unique environment, culture and history of Vancouver.  Included in the tours are visits to Stanley Park (including scenic stops at the Totem Poles & Prospect Point), English Bay, Vancouver Harbour & the Olympic Cauldron, Granville Island, Gastown, Chinatown and the Museum of Anthropology.  Each day’s tour will visit a different combination of these sites.
