The XIXth International AIDS Conference (AIDS 2012) will be held in Washington, D.C. from July 22nd to 27th 2012. www.aids2012.org For July 20th and 21st, the two days leading up to the conference, there will be an international symposium on children affected by HIV and AIDS. This Symposium is being co-organized by the Coalition on Children Affected by AIDS, The Teresa Group (an NGO working with children and families affected by HIV and AIDS in Toronto, Canada) with support from Global Action for Children. Following on the success of three previous symposia in Toronto (2006), Mexico City (2008) and Vienna (2010), it will bring together 450 of the world’s leading professionals working with children affected by HIV and AIDS.
