Guess What I Did This Summer?! – I had the experience of a lifetime at the World Forum on Early Care and Education

Every two years early childhood professionals from more than 80 countries gather to share ideas on the delivery of quality services for children and families in diverse settings.

This June I was fortunate to attend the 2009 World Forum in Belfast, Ireland and be a part of this amazing experience! The World Forum Foundation is a non-profit organization with the mission of promoting the exchange of ideas on early childhood education and development around the world.

The World Forum on Early Care and Education is one of the venues used to promote this networking and exchange of ideas and this year the focus was a celebration of the 20-year Anniversary of the UN Convention on the Rights of of the Child.

The World Forum is a working forum, not just a conference, and it is through this organization that working groups form on a variety of interesting and critical projects…
